South Sinai Security Director Magdy Moussa said the security convoys for tourist buses would be cancelled gradually for the tourists to enjoy their travels without delays.
Although there are several long excursions every day, tourist buses must wait for other excursions to gather in one convoy, for the police to escort them, which often takes a lot of time. Travel agents have complained, saying this procedure affects the tourist movement.
During his inspection tour of Dahab on Friday, Moussa said that surveillance cameras have been placed to cover all cities in order to ensure safety.
