Menufiya security forces arrested seven deaf and mute protesters for allegedly blocking roads leading to the governorate's headquarters in Shebin al-Koam and assaulting the police.
Dozens of protesters demanded jobs and an increase in their monthly payment from LE300 to LE1,200. Seven were arrested as the police dispersed the protest and reopened the roads.
