The violent attacks that took place in Sinai on Friday have forced Tourism Ministry to draw new plan within its participation at the World Travel Market in London.
Sameh Saad, tourism minister adviser, said travel bans to Sinai have pressured the Egyptian team to emphasize the promotion of Luxor.
Luxor Governor Tareq Saad Eddin said the governorate has this year different participation within the WTM in London. Both Luxor, the capital of history and monuments in the world, and Marsa Alam, with its fascinating coasts, are being promoted.
This year, according to Saad Eddin, Luxor is highlighting its golf tourism in addition to European and African film festivals, Sufi music festivals and Nile trips.
