Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ordered the government to study the possibility of including artificial intelligence as a mandatory subject in school curricula.
This came during Sisi’s meeting on Wednesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed al-Shennawy explained that the Minister of Health also reviewed the steps taken to develop an integrated digital health system in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare, facilitating access to services, and increasing operational efficiency.
This system includes the creation of electronic health records, the application of artificial intelligence technologies, the establishment of a national platform for exchanging health information, and the strengthening of international partnerships to ensure the sustainability of the state’s digital transformation.
