President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his wife Entessar visited on Thursday Egyptian actress and singer Shadia in al-Galaa Military Hospital immediately after his return to Cairo from the World Youth Forum,held in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Khaled Shaker, son of Shadia’s brother, thanked President al-Sisi and his wife for visiting the renowned artist in the hospital.
“It is a wonderful gesture of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his wife that his sovereignty insists on visiting ‘hajja’ Shadia in the hospital immediately upon arrival at the airport back from Sharm el-Sheikh,” Shaker wrote through his personal Facebook account.
According to Shaker, Sisi made sure that Shadia was under appropriate care and asked doctors about her her condition.
Shadia recently suffered a stroke, upon which she was transferred to the al-Galaa Hospital.
