Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Tuesday that Egypt will be moving forward with all its strength to build a modern democratic state that satisfies all Egyptians and meets the demands and aspirations of the future.
He stressed while inspecting an army formation that has been developed recently that the Egyptian army is capable of “doing the impossible.”
The new formation of the quick response forces is capable of performing bold and swift operations and was formed in record time, Sisi said.
The maximum effort has to be exerted to confront threats and challenges of the homeland's national security, he added.
Sisi recommended the need of serious training and studying all the risks and possible terrorist threats against vital installations and how to address them in an optimal manner by using the latest programs and methods.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Sidqi Sobhy and the leaders of the main branches of the armed forces attended the event.
