The Egyptian Judges Club, headed by Counselor Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, announced on Friday that the club is following up on the cases of six judges and public prosecutors who have contracted the novel coronavirus.
According to a press release issued by the club’s Spokesperson Reda Mahmoud, five cases have been quarantined in hospital while one is quarantined at home.
The statement added that all six cases are currently stable.
The Ministry of Health and Population announced on Wednesday that 160 people infected with coronavirus have been discharged from quarantine hospitals after receiving the necessary medical care and recovering according to the World Health Organization guidelines, bringing the total recovered cases in Egypt to 24,86.
Official Spokesperson for Egypt’s Health Ministry Khaled Mogahed announced Wednesday 338 new cases bringing total of infections to 10,431.
Twelve new deaths were recorded Wednesday bringing total to 556.
