Sixteen new medical centers in Alexandria allocated to coronavirus vaccination

The Alexandria Health Directorate has allocated 16 new centers where citizens can obtain the Chinese SinoPharm COVID-19 vaccine, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Alexandria Saeed Mamoun al-Saqan announced.

Sagan added that these come in addition to the three centers currently designated for vaccinating citizens, after the Ministry of Health had received a new batch of the vaccine.

The new centers include four hospitals and 12 units distributed over various areas of the governorate to facilitate access to the vaccine.

The 14 centers are the Sharq al-Madina Hospital, Mandara Family Unit in Montaza area, the Al-Raml Children Hospital, the family medical units of San Stenfano, Dana al-Wataniya and Abees al-Thaneya in East Alexandria, the Ophthalmology Hospital, the Muharram Bey Child Care Unit in downtown Alexandria, the Chest Medical Center in the Gomrok area, the Qabbary Hospital, Ibn Sahlan Family Unit in West Alexandria, two medical centers of al-Megzar al-Aaly and al-Nasereya in Amereya area, two family units of Dekheila and Betash in Agamy area, and the family unit in Borg al-Arab old city.

Saqan called on citizens who wish to receive the vaccination, especially the elderly and those with chronic diseases, to speed up registration on the website that the Ministry of Health has designated for applications.
