Cairo Airport authorities announced on Friday a state of emergency due to dusty weather and strong winds that led to low visibility on the airstrip.
According to sources at Cairo Airport on Friday, the airstrip was exposed in the early hours of Friday to waves of dust storms that affected visibility, leading authorities to announce a state of emergency among the Civil Protection Forces and ambulance facility at the airport.
The sources said the schedule of flights went normal without the delay or transfer of routes.
