Vice President Omar Suleiman called on Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq to appoint a "wise" vice prime minister to manage the national dialogue, Egypt state television reported Friday.
The ambiguous news did not make clear what Suleiman means by the word '"wise", which might refer to a member of the Committee of Wise Men formed earlier this month to negotiate a peaceful transition of power, or more generally to someone wise.
Suleiman has led talks this month with opposition leaders, but the groups began to pull out this week saying the talks were not serious.
