North Sharqiya Prosecution referred on Tuesday a primary school teacher to Zagazig Criminal Court for sexually harassing a sixth grade girl, who is the daughter of his neighbors, while her family was not home.
The mother, 48, filed a report to Hehya Police Station accusing her neighbor, the teacher, of sexually assaulting her daughter.
Investigations claimed that the 45-year old teacher noticed that the student was alone at home while her family went out. He got into the house, threatened the girl with a weapon and harassing her. He then escaped.
Police said the suspect was arrested and that he admitted to the crime.
