Internet, landline and mobile phone services returned to several parts of North Sinai after being cut for 13 hours Monday.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, informed source said the service cut coincided with the launch of a security campaign in several parts of the province to prevent communication among armed militants, as well as prevent them from carrying out remote detonations their mobile phones’ SIM cards.
Regardless, many citizens were angered by the communications outage.
