Meteorologists expect significant decrease in temperatures on Sunday across most parts of Egypt, while cold weather is predicted across all regions throughout the night.
Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s (EMA) figures show that temperatures would drop by 8C on Sunday, after a heat wave on Saturday recording 32C.
Mild weather is expected in the northern parts on Sunday, while warm weather us expected in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, while warm to hot wearher is expected in Upper Egypt.
Mist will affect visibility on Sunday morning in different parts of the north until northern Upper Egypt and will be dense in some areas. Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the north with chances of rain. Winds will be mostly northwesterly.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be mild and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with northwesterly surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be tough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters, with southeasterly surface winds.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 24C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 33C in Qena, 34C in Luxor, and 35C in Aswan.
