The General Authority of Meteorology (GAM) released an update on the weather conditions across Egypt for Thursday, indicating a general improvement in the atmosphere with the settling of the autumn season.
This is accompanied by a drop in temperatures, active winds, and the presence of low clouds that shield the sun, intensifying the cooler weather.
The GAM’s statement, shared on its official Facebook page, noted the decline in temperatures across the capital.
Cairo is currently seeing a high of 28C, with an expected low of 19C.
There will be chances of light rain over scattered areas of the Northern Coasts, the Nile Delta, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities at intermittent periods.
This is accompanied by active winds over Cairo, South Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt, alongside the appearance of low clouds in the sky.
