Meteorologists expect a significant and temporary increase to temperatures on Monday across most parts of Egypt, as mildly hot weather will prevail during daytime while cold weather is expected on all parts by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Alexandria and Qena, 30C in Cairo, and 31C in Luxor and Aswan.
Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated on western parts, accompanied by rainfall.
Winds will be mostly southwestern and moderate, active on the northwestern coasts and Cairo. It will blow up sand and dust on the western parts, and will also be active on the Mediterranean Sea, disturbing maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, with southeastern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
