The 25th of January revolution has not yet ended, says Sisi

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi proclaimed on Saturday that the 25th of January revolution has not yet ended, as people are still eager to achieve all that it has sought for and the state is more than willing to see those goals through.

In an interview with the TV anchor Amr Adeeb on the MBC channel’s al-Hekaya program, Sisi added that the nation’s overpopulation issue which began since the era of Presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser, Mohammed Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak represents a challenge to the state’s plans for education and health development.

He explained that the state is capable of building a million apartments a year for future generations.

“Any words I said in my election campaign I have sought to implement fully, and the state provided 500 billion pounds to fully develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside within three years,” he said.
