The Cairo security forces have revealed the mystery behind the murder of a teacher at an international school in New Cairo. It has been discovered that the perpetrator was her husband, who ended her life after assaulting her during a domestic dispute.
Investigations have shown that the victim, a 32-year-old teacher, was found with fractures and bruises all over her body. The Cairo Security Directorate’s emergency services were notified of a woman arriving at the hospital with fractures, bruises, and subsequently passing away.
The accused is said to have strangled his wife, resulting in a fatal injury to her throat and bruises around her neck.
The shocking details do not end there.
After the assault, the accused did not immediately take her to the hospital. Instead, he left her at home for five days, suffering from her severe injuries. During this time, he began searching for a doctor on social media platforms, as if attempting to salvage the situation.
When he finally decided to take her to the hospital, her health had deteriorated significantly. She was placed on a ventilator and underwent six surgeries in an attempt to save her life, but the injuries were too severe. The medical report indicated a deep cut in the throat, measuring 8 cm, which caused pus and bleeding, leading to the infection of the trachea and pharynx.
At the hospital, she was unable to survive and breathed her last, leaving behind two young orphaned daughters and a tragedy that affected everyone involved.
The victim’s family has been left shattered by the news. They described her as a loving mother and a wife who tried to manage her husband’s temper. “She was a kind and peaceful person, but circumstances were too much for her,” her mother said, struggling to hold back tears.
The family revealed that the relationship between the couple was not perfect, but they never expected things to escalate to such a degree. “If we had known she was in danger, we would never have left her with him,” they lamented.
Acting on a tip from the hospital, the security forces in New Cairo took action.
During the investigation, the accused confessed to his crime, claiming it was unintentional. He said in a low voice, “I’m a hot-headed person, and my wife was just as temperamental. But I never meant to hurt her.”
The accused added during the investigation that they hadn’t had any major problems since their marriage a year ago, as each of them had children from previous marriages: he had a son and she had two daughters.
However, they had an argument that day, ‘I lost control’… It was just like any other argument, but things got out of hand.”
After completing the legal procedures, he was arrested, and a report of the incident was filed, and investigations are ongoing.
