Egypt’s Al-Ahly football team is now a subject taught at the Spanish La Liga University.
The Spanish League account on Twitter on Monday, sent a message of thanks in Arabic to the Egyptian club: “A wonderful and rich subject that benefited our students, thank you Al-Ahly Club, the Club of the Century in Africa, thank you Mohamed Serag Eddin, our talented lecturer, we look forward to seeing you again in Master’s program next session.”
In a statement published on its official account on Twitter on Friday, Al-Ahly announced the that La Liga University chose Al-Ahly as its subject for “The Club of the Century in Africa and the Most Successful in the Middle East,” course.
It added that Engineer Mohamed Serag Eddin, a member of the team’s management in Spain was sent to participate in the Master of Sports Management, becoming the only Arab and African lecturer within its Masters program.
The subject included an explanation of the sports market and industry in Egypt and Vision 2030, touched on the experience of Al-Ahly Club in the local sports sector and in the Middle East, and provided a explanation of the team’s history, achievements, titles and popularity.
