“The Last Rifleman”, a moving drama film starring acclaimed actor Pierce Brosnan, has now premiered in Egyptian theaters on Wednesday.
It tells the story of Artie Crawford, a World War II veteran living in a nursing home in northern Ireland, haunted by the ghosts of his victims.
After losing his wife Artie decides to secretly escape from the nursing home and embark on a poignant trip to France, 75 years after D-Day in Normandy, to bid farewell to his best friend and confront his dark past.
Directed by Terry Loane, stars Brosnan as Artie Crawford, and co-stars John Amos, Jürgen Prochnow, Claire Rafferty, Desmond Eastwood, and Geraldine McAlinden.
