The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday, that it has confirmed the identity of a third fatality in the Israeli attack that targeted leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the capital, Doha.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the remains belong to Jihad Labad, after scattered human remains were found at the site of the attack.
The ministry explained that a specialized team is continuing its efforts to identify the victims, while the search for two missing people is ongoing. The teams are using Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) techniques to ensure the accuracy of the verification.
In a previous statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry had confirmed the death of Mumin Jawad Hassouna, a member of the Hamas movement, as a result of the attack.
