
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects a slight drop in temperatures across most parts of the country from Saturday, March 29 to Thursday, April 3.
Saturday’s weather will be slightly hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, while growing hotter in southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will be slightly cold at night over the country.
According to the EMA, Saturday and Sunday’s will witness chance of light rain and possible thunderstorms in parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, with light rain in the far west of the country.
Winds will also be active from Saturday to Thursday on the northwestern coasts and northern Upper Egypt.
These will potentially disrupt navigation in the Gulf of Suez, where wind speeds will range between 40 and 50 km/h, and waves between 1.5 and 2.5 meters high.

- Alexandria: 23C
- Cairo: 27C
- Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh: 29C
- Luxor: 35C
- Aswan: 37C
