The Tourism Ministry has on Sunday opened investigation into the death of a British tourist whose appendix reportedly burst in a Sharm el-Sheikh resort.
Dr. Mohamed Dahy, director of the Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, said the man arrived at the hospital in a poor condition as a result of a incorrect treatment at his resort.
The man, he says, was suffering from a burst appendix, an ulcer in the stomach, kidney failure and blood poisoning.
