Thirty-five passengers were injured in a bus rollover accident in the Suez Governorate. Emergency services transported the injured to Suez Medical Complex for treatment.
The Suez Emergency Services received a report from drivers about a bus rollover at Am El Qamar. Dr. Mina Fouzy, the director of the emergency services, dispatched 15 ambulances from stations on the Suez-Ismailia and Suez-Cairo roads to the accident site.
Initial investigations indicated that excessive speed caused the accident, leading to the rollover of the tourist bus returning from South Sinai.
The bus was carrying 46 people, including 44 foreign tourists and 2 Egyptians, and the accident resulted in injuries to tourists of various nationalities, including Turks and Britons.
