Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Judge Hassan Farid adjourned the trial of 213 defendants charged with joining Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis terrorist organization to June 11 next.
The defendants are accused of committing over 54 terrorist crimes including the killing of police officers and attempted murder of former Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim and bombing a number of security facilities in many governorates like Cairo, Daqahlia and South Sinai security directorates.
The court received as well on Tuesday a notification from Tora Prison confirming the execution of six defendants two days ago in the case known in media as Arab Sharkas.
