The trial of Writer Fatma Naout over contempt of religion was adjourned until 25 February.

South Cairo Misdemeanor Court started on Wednesday trial of Naout over contempt of religion. The writer was accused in December of blasphemy and mocking an Islamic ritual after she criticized on Facebook in October the ritual of sacrificing animals on Eid al-Adha describing this as ‘massacre’.
