Transport Minister Kamel al-Wazir announced that the trial operation of Kafr al-Dawar bridge on Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road started on Saturday.
The 625-meter length and 24-meter width bridge contributes to easing traffic jam on the agricultural road.
The project is part of the Transport Ministry’s plan to develop the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road to facilitate trade movement among Lower Egypt governorates and serve commuters, El Wazir added.
