Tunisian authorities captured an Egyptian fishing boat that was inside its waters on Monday evening with 14 sailors on board.
The Tunisian news agency said on Tuesday that “A Tunisian marine patrol signaled the boat, which was thirty miles away from the coast of Gergis Port, to stop. The boat did not respond to the calls until the marine patrol fired two shots in the air.”
“The boat was lead to Gergis Port, and a report of the incident has been transferred to the fishing authority to take legal action,” the agency added.
