Turkish media expect that the Egyptian Foreign Minister’s visit to his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Cavusoglu, may lead to the appointment of ambassadors for both countries, Omar Ahmed, a correspondent for the “Cairo News” channel, said from Ankara.
Ahmed added that Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry was discussing in the strengthening of joint relations between the two countries.
The most important of these regional issues is the trade and economic files.
He explained that the visit of the Egyptian Foreign Minister to Ankara comes as a continuation of a series of visits that Egypt began in February,.
These visits showcase the solidarity after the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey in February.
The meeting also touched on several important files, most notably the Libyan and Syrian issues.
