Two Egyptian workers killed in Libya clashes

Two Egyptian workers were killed after a shell inadvertently fell on them during clashes between pro-Libyan retired General Khalifa Haftar forces and Ansar al-Sharia in al-Hawary area, Benghazi.

The victims were identified as Ahmed Ragab Tawfiq and Rabei Mohamed Salem.
 
Six shells were fired on the houses of both workers in Boatny district in front of a special forces camp in Benghazi.
 
Clashes erupted Monday leaving at least 16 people dead and 100 other injured. 
 
In recent months, Benghazi saw the assassination of military and security officials, the killing of civilians and the abduction of foreign workers.
