Unidentified attackers set fire on Thursday to ATMs affiliated to the National Bank of Egypt in Monufiya governrate.
The Civil Protection Forces controlled the fire and the prosecutors headed to the scene of the incident for investigation.
A source with Monufiya Security Directotrate denied that money have been stolen from the burnt ATMs.
Eyewitnesses from nearby buildings said that at dawn on Thursday the residents saw heavy fire coming out of the ATMs and noticed two people on a motorcycle who escaped after throwing indentified substances at the ATMs.
