Unstable weather is expected throughout Wednesday to Thursday, the Acting Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ashraf Saber Zaky said.
Low-and-medium level clouds, accompanied by moderate rainfall are predicted on the northwest coast and south of the Red Sea mountains.
Rains may extend to areas of southern Upper Egypt.
Heavy rainfall, possibly causing thunderstorms and floods, are predicted at South Sinai and along the Red Sea mountain chains on Thursday.
Weather conditions will ease from Friday with chances of medium rainfall and a drop in weather temperatures in the north of the country by 4 to 5 degrees.
