
An official source in North Sinai said that a new batch of trucks carrying humanitarian, food, and relief aid has entered the Gaza Strip.
Up to 95 trucks carrying humanitarian and relief aid entered Gaza on Friday through the Karam Abu Salem crossing gate, south of Rafah, passing through the side gate of Rafah land crossing, the source explained.
Among the trucks entering the Gaza Strip, eight came from Qatar, 14 came from the Egyptian camp, 20 from the Egyptian Red Crescent, and 53 from the UN.
An official source from the Egyptian Red Crescent said that the aid trucks that entered Gaza Strip on Friday were part of the 52nd “Provisions of Pride from Egypt to Gaza” convoy.
The source added: “The volume of aid that has entered Gaza since the beginning of the war has reached approximately 37,500 trucks carrying more than 700,000 tons of various humanitarian and relief aid, in addition to ambulances and fuel trucks.”
More than 7,000 trucks have entered into Gaza Strip since July 27 through the Karam Abu Salem crossing, south of Rafah, carrying over 53,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, in addition to 64 trucks carrying over 3,300 tons of fuel.
