US losses show Iran was more prepared than Trump anticipated: Report

The New York Times reported on Monday, citing US officials, that the deaths of American soldiers showed Iran was better prepared than the Trump administration had anticipated.

AlQahera News channel reported that the US military announced the death of its seventh service member during military operations against Iran.

US Central Command said in a statement: “Last night, a US service member died from wounds sustained during the Iranian regime’s initial attacks in the Middle East region. The soldier was seriously wounded at the site of an attack on US forces in Saudi Arabia on March 1st.”

The statement indicated that the service member was critically wounded at the site of an attack and added that the deceased’s identity would not be released until 24 hours after next of kin had been notified.
