The maritime transport sector of the Transport Ministry issued a media statement regarding enhancing yacht tourism in Egypt and simplifying and accelerating its procedures upon the arrival and departure of foreign yachts from tourist ports and marinas located on Egypt’s coasts, in implementation of the directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In a statement, the maritime transport sector referred to the establishment of a unified digital platform for the foreign yachts in order to facilitate the procedures.
The Transport Ministry is assigned to operate and manage the platform, which will allow the owner of the yacht to enter the data of the yacht and passengers and upload the required papers and documents, it added.
