The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates Monday’s weather to be very hot and humid during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the southern parts of the country, while hot and humid on the north coast.
By evening the weather will be hot and humid across most of the nation, while moderate and humid specifically on the north coast.
Moderate winds are expected over most of the country, sometimes causing sand and dust storms within the farthest reaches of the country at intervals, especially exposed areas.
The country is being impacted by mid-latitude high pressures, bringing in an air mass coming from Europe which helps to moderate the weather.
There are chances of light to moderate rain, with possible thunder, in areas of the New Valley and Sharq al-Owainat.
