Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram announced Tuesday the launch of a competition for Egyptian communities residing in Europe, to compete for the highest rate of sharing and promoting a promotional advertisement on tourism in Egypt.
The initiative comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities as part of the “Speak Arabic” presidential initiative to introduce Egypt’s language, identity, achievements and history, as well as the No Place Like Egypt campaign launched by the two ministries in 2019.
Makram stated that this competition aims to promote tourism movement from Europe to Egypt, and the grand prize will be a round trip ticket from Poland to Cairo on Polish Airlines and a stay for three nights in a Cairo hotel, with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum.
Registration is open online and the ministry’s team will receive their participation, she said, available online from Tuesday until Friday, May 27, and the prize trip will be for three winners with the most participation and comments on the promotional short “Follow the Sun”.
