Video: Footage documents extent of damage at Kuwait Airport

An official video released by Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday showed the extent of damage inflicted on the passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport by an Iranian drone attack that targeted the airport on Wednesday.

The DGCA posted the video, documenting the initial moments of the Iranian drone attack on Kuwait International Airport, on its official X platform.

The video showed the aftermath of the attack on Terminal 1 (T1) at the airport, which resulted in several casualties and serious injuries, as well as significant material damage to facilities and infrastructure.

The DGCA called the attack an example of “brutal Iranian aggression,” emphasizing the scale of the human and material losses caused by the attack.

Egypt condemns attack

Egypt condemned Iran’s attacks on the Kuwait International Airport, viewing it as a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Egypt also condemned the attacks targeting Bahrain, deeming them a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the Gulf region and the wider region.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, Egypt reiterated that the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council states are a fundamental pillar of Arab national security.

Egypt expressed its categorical rejection of any actions or practices that violate the sovereignty of states or threaten their security and territorial integrity, thereby jeopardizing the security and stability of the entire region.
