Hollywood Star Chris Hemsworth returns as Tyler Rake in the sequel to the popular Netflix action thriller “Extraction”, which will be released on June 16.
After narrowly escaping the horrors of the first film, Rake returns as a member of the Australian Special Forces with a deadly new mission: to rescue the family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from prison.
Sam Hargrave will direct the film with the help of the production company AGBO of the brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, and it will be written by Joe Russo. Actress Golshifteh Farahani returns in the same role from the first film, along with Adam Besa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili.
The first film was based on the graphic novel “Ciudad” by Ande Parks, from a story by Parks, Joy and Anthony Russo, and drawings by Fernando Leon Gonzalez.
