A video clip showing Minister of Manpower Aisha Abdel Hady kissing the hand of First Lady Suzanne Mubarak was published on the Internet, sparking controversy among viewers.
The clip, included on sites such as YouTube and Facebook, showed Hady kissing Mubarak’s hand during the NDP conference that took place earlier this month. The couple was on their way to the conference hall, when Abdel Hady received Mubarak with much hospitality, lifting her left hand and kissing it. The gesture was met with a friendly smile by the first lady.
