A video posted on the internet on Sunday shows policemen shooting down a young unarmed man during recent protests in Alexandria.
Entitled “Eyptian police kills an unarmed citizen cold blood!!" the 2:39 minute video, released on YouTube, shows a man standing in front of policemen, taking off his jacket and opening his arms wide. The policemen appear to shoot him dead.
Sounds of gunfire and then women screaming are heard as the body lies on the ground.
Al-Masry Al-Youm was not able to contact the police to verify exactly what happened.
