The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki al-Sheikh revealed the details of actor Ahmed Helmy’s upcoming comedy film “al-Nono”.
In a video accompanied by Helmy on his official Facebook account, al-Sheikh explained: “We have an important surprise with the legend Ahmed Helmy. There is one of the films which he will start at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.”
“He will play the role of a major fraudster and will carry out two fraud operations in Saudi Arabia, the first in a gaming tournament and the second for people in Umrah and Hajj,” he said.
In a previous post on Facebook, al-Sheikh wrote: “I concluded an important meeting with the great star Karim Abdel-Aziz, the great star Ahmed Helmy, the great director Marwan Hamed, the head of the technical committee of the Big Time Fund, Ahmed Badawi, the GEA team, and the Riyadh season.”
He added, “There are big surprises that will see the light, God willing, and they will be announced soon.”
