The romantic drama film “Wa Lana Fel Khayal Hob” (We Have Love in Our Imagination) has topped the Egyptian box office, surpassing all other competing films.
On Sunday alone, it grossed approximately LE 1,267,000 from the sale of 10,200 tickets.
The cast
Sarah Rezeq, marking her feature film debut, directs the film.
The cast features prominent actors such as Ahmed al-Saadany, Mayan al-Sayed, and Omar Rezeq, along with several newcomers.
The story
The film explores the complexities of love and loss, through a relationship between a university student and her introverted professor, who is going through a sad personal experience and refuses to engage in social or emotional relationships, before he finds himself in a complicated situation that puts him before painful questions about the meaning of true love.
