Warmer temperatures continue across Egypt for Tuesday

Meteorologists predict warm weather across the west coast of Egypt on Tuesday with moderately hot weather expected along the east coast and in Lower Egypt, Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.

Hotter weather is predicted for southern Upper Egypt during the day as well, with temperatures expected to grow cooler across the country at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Cairo, 25C in Alexandria, 23C in Qena and Luxor, and 33C in Aswan.

Low- and medium-level clouds are predicted to form across the northern regions of the country and will be accompanied by rainfall along the northwest coast.

Winds will be mostly southwestern and active in the north of Egypt and in central Sinai, possibly disturbing sand and dust in some areas.

Winds will also be active west of the Mediterranean Sea, potentially disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height with southwestern to northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with southeastern to southwestern surface winds.
