Deputy US State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said that the fight against terrorism is among the most important issues that are constantly discussed with the Egyptian government, adding that Egypt is exerting great efforts to tackle extremism, especially in Sinai.
She added that the events with the Islamic State and the killings in Paris have nothing to do with Islam.
