The Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Giza announced cutting off water to several areas of the governorate in order to conduct periodic maintenance as of 4 pm Friday and until 12 am the same day.
Water will be cut off in the areas of Hadabet al-Ahram, Haram street and its sude streets, Kafr Taharmes, Manshiet al-Bakary, al-Talebiya and other areas.
The company warned citizens and owners of bakeries and hospitals to measure their water during that period.
Officials also said they would provide trucks loaded with clean water to places in need.
