The Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Giza has announced that water will be cut off in certain parts of Mohandeseen from 10 pm on Friday to 10 am on Saturday.
The affected areas are Gam'et al-Dowal Street, Sudan Street, al-Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street, Shehab Street and its by-streets, al-Kawthar Street, Zamzam Street, al-Hussein Street and its by-streets and Jeddah Street and its by-streets.
The company will be moving water mains to other areas in the neighborhood in order to implement a subway project, a statement by the company said on Thursday.
The statement instructed residents, hospitals and shops to begin storing water which will last them until Saturday morning.
The company will also set up water stations in Mohandeseen, said Mohi al-Serafi, the general manager of public relations and media at the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation.
