The Water and Wastewater Company in the Red Sea governorate has said that water will be cut in the southern part of Hurghada city on Wednesday for repairs to some main lines and the water filter.
In a statement, the company urged citizens to ration their consumption of water in the southern part of the tourist area.
Pumping will be resumed on Thursday, the statement added.
