Egypt’s temperatures to decrease starting mid-September

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced the weather forecast starting Monday until next Saturday, expecting temperatures to cool down by mid-September.

The EMA clarified that with the beginning of September, temperatures and humidity levels are expected to decrease, and that active winds will bring down the heat.

Meteorologists added that during this period, hot weather will prevail on the northern coasts, Cairo and Lower Egypt, and very hot south of the country.

The EMA warned that direct exposure to sunlight could cause heat-stroke, especially at noon.

They added low and medium clouds will appear in the early morning along the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo.
