Egyptian TV host Ahmed Moussa said on Sunday that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will meet with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday at the Davos Forum.
During his program “On My Responsibility,” broadcast on Sada al-Balad TV channel, Moussa added that the Egyptian-American summit will discuss Gaza, particularly on maintaining the ceasefire.
He continued that the summit will also address many other issues, including “the challenges of the Horn of Africa, the (Grand) Ethiopian (Renaissance) dam, global maritime traffic, the situation in Sudan, and other international matters.”
Moussa added that the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Minister Hassan Rashad, met with members of the Palestinian committee for managing Gaza, headed by Ali Shaath, along with 11 other members, to discuss resolving the Palestinian issue and assuming responsibility for the Gaza Strip.
The committee will work to end the suffering of Palestinians and assume all duties and responsibilities in the Strip, he said, emphasizing the need to provide Gaza residents with supplies and humanitarian aid, and to open the crossings into the Gaza Strip.
