Al-Ahly, led by Swiss coach Marcel Koller, resumed training on Friday in preparation for facing its rival Bank Al-Ahly in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League, as part of the plan to retain the title after the players were given a rest from training on Thursday.
Al-Ahly will face its counterpart at five pm on Sunday at al-Salam Stadium in the fourth round of the League competition, after achieving a big victory over the Ivorian Stade d’Abidjan team 4-2 in the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The On Time Sports channel will broadcast the Ahly vs Bank Al-Ahly match in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League, with an analytical studio that includes a constellation of Egyptian football stars.
Al-Ahly won the Egyptian Premier League title last season “2023-2024” for the 44th time in its history.
Koller hopes to regain their good performance, especially since Ahly opened its journey in the tournament with a big win over Ceramica Cleopatra 5-2 in the first round, then won over ZED FC 1-0 in the second round before drawing 1-1 with Al-Ittihad Alexandria.
